On the south side of the Minster churches in Freiburg, there are up to 65 kiosks (a kiosk is a small cart for displaying products for sale) where you can admire the many merchants with different products. Here, original ceramic and woodwork is offered for sale. Nearby, exotic fruits, appetizers and fragrant spices are offered, as well as delicious desserts. The market offer varies according to the days of the week and the season, as nature dictates to us: strawberries and asparagus in the spring, bright flowers and cranberries in the summer, wonderful pumpkin varieties and hot mushrooms in the fall, and all kinds of cabbage and hot chestnuts in the winter.
