Mumbai Zoo was established in the year 1861. It is one of the oldest zoos in Mumbai that boasts of its rich collection of wonderful and rare animals. Among the animals found there are crocodiles, monkeys, tigers, lions and elephants. The park holds many seminars and lectures on endangered animals and how not to threaten nature to ensure the continuity of wildlife with human life. These lectures are given by professors specialized in natural sciences and animals.
