Muckross House is located on a small peninsula 6 kilometers from the beautiful town of Killarney. The building was presented as a gift to the Irish people by businessmen William Bowers Bourn and Arthur Rose in 1932. The building's gardens have since become Ireland's first national park. The building and its gardens were designed by the famous architect William Burn in the year 1843. The building contains 65 rooms, dozens of gardens and an amazing music room.
