Brunei lacks pristine beaches, but locals get their share of paradise at Muara Beach, about 27 kilometers northeast of the capital, Bandar Seri Begawan. It has a long and charming stretch of sand, jogging tracks and picnic areas. It contains the white sands that the Maldives is famous for, but it provides visitors with a guaranteed wonderful sunset.
