The Mountaineer Cemetery, or in Arabic, the Cemetery of Mountaineers, is a memorial to all the climbers who lost their lives while climbing one of Zermatt's mountains. The cemetery is located in a quiet part of the city, and visitors come to it to relax and to meet the lay people who gave their lives in pursuit of their hobbies.
