Jabal Qasioun is considered a geographical extension of the western Syrian mountain range, and it is one of the main attractions in the city. The height of this mountain is 1150 meters above sea level, and its summit provides an amazing panoramic view of the entire ancient city of Damascus. In addition to the residential neighborhoods located at the foot of the mountain, there are some natural caves, monasteries and the shrines of the saints, in addition to the giant rock called "I remember me rock", which many locals and tourists take souvenir photos next to.
