The Monument to the Leninist Komsomol Heroes is a monument to the young national heroes who gave their lives for the liberation of the Fatherland. Installed in 1959 with funds collected by young people from the Republic of Moldova, this monument is a bronze statue of a girl standing on a square granite pillar holding a torch in her hand as a symbol of victory.
