The Monument to the Kazakh People is located in the center of the capital on Independence Square, a new architectural landmark in Astana and all of Kazakhstan. It is a light column set on a white marble quadrangular foundation, where on each side you will see bas-reliefs depicting the main events of the formation of the independent Republic of Kazakhstan, With a height of 91 meters, this building is associated with the country's independence in 1991.
