The Virgin Bogoroditsa Spiliutica Monastery is located in the eastern part of the Nikolai Plateau, south of Melnik, and is surrounded by semi-sharp cliffs with a height of about 100 meters. It is of two parts - the entrance to the south and the monastery complex to the north, and in the southeastern part of it there is a chamber, a cistern, a series of monastic buildings along the outer walls to the east and north, and the main monastery building, a guest room, and a library on the western walls.
