Agios Nikolaos Monastery is one of the most beautiful monasteries in Metsovo, with its distinctive ancient stone structure surrounded by different types of trees and brightly colored roses. Tourists are especially interested in visiting this monastery because it still preserves Christian religious icons dating back to the second and thirteenth centuries, in addition to the paintings and murals that decorate its interior walls.
