Metsovo is a town in the Epirus region, located on the Pindos Mountains in northern Greece, between Ioannina in the north and Meteora in the south. Metsovo is visited by many tourists from around the world to enjoy its arts, culture and traditions, and to wander its gray stone streets between red-tiled rooftops, green spaces and palaces consisting of traditional balconies and wooden doors, as well as walking in the mountains, crossing rivers, and visiting the built drinking fountains of stones, and taste the famous local dishes. In the winter, the town is covered in white, and offers its visitors the opportunity to practice various winter activities, such as skiing and snowboarding.
