Menicdina Archaeological Reserve is an archaeological site located on the Dambulla-Kandy road just a few kilometers from the town of Dambulla, and covers an area of about 5 acres, and its nursery covers about 35 acres of forest land rich in biodiversity, the place dates back to the third and fourth centuries AD, and it is known that it served as a seclusion home for the Buddhist Arhatians.
