On February 27, 2005, a memorial museum was opened in the apartment of the artist Ponomarenko , in which he lived with his wife, singer Veronika Zoralaviva-Ponomarenko for almost a quarter of a century. Poets, writers, singers, musicians, scientists, and public figures used to gather in this apartment to listen to new songs, to discuss creative plans, concerts, and more. The museum exhibit reflects parts of the life and work of the composer, nicknamed People's Artist of the Soviet Union, who glorified Kuban in his musical works. In the music room, you can listen to recordings of his songs performed by famous artists. Musical evenings are held in this museum with artists of the Krasnodar Philharmonic, performing works composed by this composer.
