Malik Mahmoud Mosque is one of the many mosques of distinctive design in the city of Mardin, where the main area of the mosque consists of a section in the middle of a dome covered with cylindrical vaults on both sides, and there is a square-shaped tomb to the west of the main space, and its minaret is located in the northeastern corner and has a simple cylindrical structure. It is understood from the inscription on the outer portal, that this building must belong to the fourteenth century. In addition to the religious importance of this mosque, it is also one of the most important archaeological sites in the country.
