Tehat Kot is a traditional Bulgarian restaurant that has been around for more than 50 years. It is located at the beginning of General Gorko Street in the area where the old town merges with the new town of Veliko Tarnovo. The restaurant has the spirit of a traditional restaurant, and funny slogans on the walls give a nice and friendly feel to its interior , while the food served are some of the best homemade Bulgarian dishes, such as bean stew, kofta, moussaka, roasted red pepper, meat stew with tomatoes, and more.
