The Meenakshi Temple Museum is located within the temple complex, to facilitate access for visitors and pilgrims, and the museum gives travelers a glimpse into the vast Hindu religion and the 1,200-year history of this magnificent temple. The museum also with its details and history is the site of knowledge about Dravidan carving, and it displays many symbols, paintings, photographs, etc. of Hindu deities and their stories. It takes about 1-2 hours to walk around the museum, but it's totally worth it. This wonderful place is a must visit for everyone who is interested in different aspects of Hinduism.
