It is a medieval Stockholm Museum, built in the late 1970's. The museum displays ancient artifacts excavated in large-scale archaeological pits, called the dubbed Riksgropen. Where was found part of the city wall of Stockholm, which dates back to the early sixteenth century. It also offers thematic exhibitions, with an emphasis on the Middle Ages. Arranges lectures, seminars, and programs. It also participates in broad educational activities, where it forms children, youth, and schools, as the main target groups. The museum has a bookstore related to the Middle Ages, as well as postcards and jewelry.
