The Martinstor Gate is located near the river, and is part of the fortifications and the southern line of defense of the town, and was used to stop ships and make sure that they paid fees, and it is a wonderful shrine that still retains its features from the Middle Ages, in addition to being considered as an entrance leading to the magnificent Cochem Castle.
