The Marshal Ataturk Monument is the second monument project to Mustafa Kemal Ataturk after the Ataturk Ethnography Museum in Ankara. It is located in the center of Ankara on Victory Square, and was opened in 1927. In this monument, where bronze and marble are used as materials, Atatürk is seen standing in his military uniform, both hands attached to the handle of his sword, and on his side are wreaths of victory. The bronze statue is 1.75 meters high, and the marble pedestal is 2 meters high. Despite its modest dimensions, the monument has a clear and resolute appearance, and is one of the city's most important landmarks.
