The Montjuïc Magic Fountain was first opened in 1929, during the Great World's Fair, when designer Carles Buigas presented his plans a year before the exhibition and many thought the project was too ambitious to be created. The fountain was distinguished by its distinctive architectural design, in which architecture was integrated with the lighting system, where amazing displays of color, light, movement, music and water acrobatics are held here, and if you mix these elements together in just the right combinations, you will end up with pure magic!
