The Zollren Industrial Museum is located in a former coal mine with origins dating back to 1898 AD, and has an impressive exterior architectural design and an Art Nouveau gate. This museum hides many historical accounts and events related to the history of mining and industry in Germany in general and the Westphalia region in particular. It contains huge machines, steel structures, transformers and compressors that were used by the miners, in addition to some artwork that depicts the conditions faced by the miners in the past.
