Lowveld is that part of South Africa between the Eastern Escarpment and the Lubombo Mountains on the Mozambique border, and although most of this area is under cultivation of citrus or timber, there are some noteworthy bird sites in the vicinity of Nelspruit and Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport.
