The city's Catholic cathedral is the largest church in ód. It is a true masterpiece of art, built between 1901 and 1912 by the famous Lodge engineers Zachary & Wendy. The interior is modeled after a typical medieval cathedral and includes three porticos, a bridge, a choir, and an ambulatory clinic. There is a monument to the Unknown Soldier, and on the other side is a monument to Father Skrupka, a Roman Catholic priest who is believed to have contributed greatly to the country's victory over the Bolsheviks in 1920.
