A majestic hall with magnificent Georgian decorations, this magnificent hall has been inscribed on the World Heritage List as it was built in 1749. It is certainly one of the most beautiful and oldest of Liverpool's city halls. This hall is one of Liverpool's few examples of magnificent 18th century Georgian architecture, and the decorations and designs inside illustrate the fortunes of the shipping and slave traders who owned this hall in the past.
