Information about Leeds Industrial Museum
Located in what was once the world's largest woolen mill, the Industrial Museum houses a large collection of gemstones in beautiful riverside surroundings. You can go at any time to learn about the history of industrial Leeds from the manufacture of textiles and clothing to the printing, engineering and locomotives for which the city is famous, with clearly written explanations of both the industrial work and the harsh conditions in which the mill employees worked, and you will find a small cinema showing films regularly throughout the week. Besides, there is a small self-service café with tables and chairs where you can eat your own food, and outside there is a very relaxing colorful garden .
