The Musée Lapidari or the Archeology Gallery at the Musée Calvé displays Greek, Roman, Gallo-Roman and Paleochristian collections, as well as an astonishing assemblage of ancient Corinthian and Italian vases and many objects of everyday life such as funerary furniture, vases, glassware and jewellery. The entire collection is a historical and artistic treasure created in 1810 with a legacy from Calvet, along with collectibles and gifts from the state and some old European collections.
