The Algiers Opera "Boualem Bassaih" is located in the town of Ouled Fayet, west of Algiers. Opened in July 2016, the opera building is a gift from China to Algeria, in appreciation of the excellent relations between the two countries. The Opera building consists of a ground floor, three floors, including a large auditorium containing 1,400 seats, ballet halls, choral and rehearsal rooms, two cafeterias, conference and work rooms, and 600 parking spaces. It is a special place worth visiting, as this theater hosts many wonderful and varied musical, dance and singing performances.
