The Kurbad Jungborn Museum is a relic of the early days of modern bathing culture in Kassel and the last of the many river baths in the area, it has been recently renovated and restored. The small museum is divided into four sections and presents the history and development of the various bathing facilities in Kassel such as the river baths, outdoor and indoor municipal pools as well as public and private cleaning baths. The show is currently focused on representing the river and its cleaning pools.
