One of the most interesting buildings in the city is the Kosice Art Hall, located in the former public swimming pool building close to the city centre. This hall focuses on collecting and presenting pieces of contemporary visual art. The pool in the central hall contains artworks by local and foreign artists. Some world-famous artists have visited this place, such as British sculptor Tony Cragg and founder of photography and water art Gyula Košice, whose statue can be seen in front of the hall.
