Krasnodar Regional Art Museum "Kovalenko" has the longest history among the art museums of the North Caucasus region. The museum’s collection consists of up to 9 thousand exhibits in various categories such as ancient Russian art, displaying icons from the 15th to the 18th centuries belonging to different art schools, Russian and Soviet art from the 18th to the 20th centuries, and art of Western Europe, Asia and Africa. As well as sculptures, watercolor paintings, and other wonderful works.
