The monastery museum is divided with its valuable exhibits into thematic sections covering topics about history, art, culture and life in a special way in a place steeped in history, the Black Forest clocks and the history of the clock's development constitute the focal point of the museum. Annually temporary exhibitions on life and art in the Black Forest are held here. The collection of St. Margen Abbey Museum is one of the most important of its kind in southwestern Germany. Presentation in the historical environment creates a unique holistic experience of landscapes, art and culture.
