The 300-year-old Keppeldagi Mosque was reconstructed after a fire in 1960, and the mosque, reconstructed by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, was opened for worship in 2015. This mosque is distinguished by its location on the top of the mountain. 130 meters above sea level, the Kabil Daji Mosque, which spends more than half of the year under the fog, can be seen from all the villages of the area on clear days. This mosque is one of the important architectural works in the Ottoman era. During President Erdogan's visit to Rize, Günsuu district governor Ihsan Selim Bidesh said about the mosque, "It is a real masterpiece that we expect to be a very important center in the coming period."
