Khor Najd is an impressive strait with steep sea cliffs lining its sides. It connects to the north with Khor Habalin and the Gulf of Oman. There are no villages or settlements anywhere along it, so it is only possible to see and explore this picturesque fjord by boat. It is one of the largest fjords in the Musandam Peninsula, and its name comes from the word "help", thanks to which it provides refuge for travelers and merchants during bad weather conditions at sea.
