The imposing Kaisersberg Town Hall was built in 1604 by the carpenter Dominique Haecher to serve as the residence and administrative center of the Imperial Precinct (the emperor's direct representative in the Kaisersburg region). It was built of sandstone and is an example of Renaissance architecture in the region. The Rhine, the large building has two floors, the first containing the council room with its ornate ceiling and beautiful antique doors.
