This garden, also known as Jardines de Colleon, was a permanent reference in the old monastery of the monks, where it formed one of the natural exits of the city in the north. The gardens were decorated with a fountain in its center at the end of the nineteenth century, surrounded by rose bushes, a large number of tree plantations, and in the interior of these gardens, stands the Morabito Mosque. It also has a beautiful view of the old Baroque monastery of La Merced, which is now the seat of the regional council.
