The Botanical Garden is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Toulouse, as it is home to a group of small waterfalls and fountains surrounded by flowers and sometimes ponies. The creation of the garden in 1794, commissioned by the naturalist Philippe Picot de Lapeyrouse, has historically allowed medical students to benefit from its medicinal plants.
