Jakab Palace is a palace built in the neo-Gothic style, located in the heart of Kosice near the city park. It was not the residence of a noble family, but the house of the well-known engineer Peter Jakab, who was responsible for the construction of the State Theater building and the Eastern Slovak Museum and, in April 1945, the palace was the residence of the President of the Czech-Slovak Republic, Edvard Beneš.
