The Independence Palace, which hosted the first dignitaries on October 24, 2013, is located in the northwestern part of Minsk, along one of the city's streets. The building harmoniously fits into the famous city district, near the State Flag Square, a short distance from Victory Park and the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War. The Independence Palace displays the ingenuity of the talents of Belarusians, as the rich spiritual and cultural heritage of the Belarusian nation and its advanced architectural and engineering solutions were embodied in metal, wood, stone, glass, textiles and cloth.
