The Imam Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab Mosque is the largest mosque in the State of Qatar. It is an Islamic civilized edifice inspired by Islamic architecture, with a design based on the historical Qatari architecture for mosques. It is located in the heart of the Qatari capital, Doha. It organizes ongoing events and activities to introduce the Islamic religion and spread its true values and teachings. The mosque occupies an area of 175,000 square meters, and can accommodate more than thirty thousand worshipers, in addition to a prayer room for women, which can accommodate about 1,200 worshippers. The northern ribs, to be used as shelves for memorizing the Holy Quran.
