The Ilmin Museum of Art is a private art museum that mainly displays Korean contemporary art, originally established to commemorate Kim Sangman; the former president of Donga Ilbo; One of the leading Korean media, the museum's name was taken from its nickname "Elmin", which means "one people" or "united nation" in Korean. The museum is operated by the Ilmin Cultural Foundation, and a variety of special exhibitions and art classes are held in it. Throughout the year, the museum also houses a café and restaurant on the first floor.
