This church was founded in 1959 by the Dominican friar Marcos Lacerda de Camargo. Built entirely of wood, it has a single nave and a bell tower in the left corner of the facade. On March 3, 2000, it was destroyed by fire. Thanks to community effort, it was reconstructed with materials and appearance identical to the original, and reopened on December 16, 2007. It is a wonderful place with simple decor and a beautiful mausoleum, which also has some amazing statues and paintings and where the marriage ceremony takes place.
