The Iceci region near Opatija is famous for its attractive beach, which is one of the best marinas in the Adriatic Sea. For more than a decade, Icci Beach has been awarded the Blue Flag, an international symbol of high quality service and cleanliness, and is listed as one of the five best beaches in Croatia . The marina, protected from the northern winds by Yucca Mountain, has 283 electric and water berths, and is the best port for yachts up to 40 meters in length in the northern Adriatic.
