Hove Museum and Art Gallery is a municipality-owned museum in the city, which is part of the larger city of Brighton and Hove in southeast England. The museum is part of the "Royal Pavilion & Museums, Brighton and Hove", and admission is free. Opened in 1927 by the Hove Company, the museum is housed in a late 19th-century villa originally known as Brooker Hall. The museum has a toy exhibition that includes a large collection of dolls, teddy bears, mechanical toys, toy trains, dolls, rocking horses and a tricycle. The museum also includes displays of local history and a collection of early cinema artifacts from the 1890s to the 1800s.
