Hosh Issa is one of the Egyptian cities located in the Egyptian governorate of Beheira. It is a historical city. It is mentioned in history that it resisted the invasion of the Mamluks. It was named Hosh Issa after the sheriff Hosh Ibn Issa, whose lineage goes back to the Prophet Muhammad. The city is characterized by its fertile soil suitable for agriculture, from which the Nile River passes to feed most of its urban areas.
