Hortobagy Park was designated a national park in 1973. It is the largest protected park in Hungary, with an area of 800 square kilometers; It is also one of the main and vital attractions in Hungary. This wonderful garden is famous for its nine-hole bridge and blind wells, as well as for being adorned with many trees, diverse plants and water bodies. It is home to many animals such as raccoons, horses, oxen and 342 species of birds.
