Haydar-Khana Mosque is located in the heart of the city of Baghdad, and is considered one of its distinctive archaeological and religious monuments. It is an old Iraqi mosque built during the reign of the Abbasid Caliph Ahmad Al-Nasir Li-Din Allah (Abu'l-Abbas Ahmad ibn Hassan al-Mustadi) in the 12th century AD, and it was rebuilt again during the reign of the Ottoman Empire in Baghdad in 1819 AD.
