Information about Harrat al Harrah Conservation
The 12,150-square-kilometre Hurra Reserve was established in 1986 in an area filled with undulating basalt lava fields, gravel plains and green valleys. It is located northwest of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the border of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and extends east of Wadi Sirhan, and is home to about 22 species of Animals, including elk, Arabian wolf, red fox, sand fox, hare and jerboa.
