The Harpa Concert Hall and Conference Center is one of Reykjavik's most famous landmarks, the center of cultural and social life in the heart of the city. It is an award-winning art and tourist destination and has been visited by millions of people since its opening in 2011. It was chosen as one of the best concert halls of the new millennium by the famous Gramophone magazine. In 2012 it won the award for Best Convention Center in Northern Europe.
