The story of Hardee's began in the 1960s, when Wilbur Hardy founded the first Hardee's restaurant in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. It was a fast food restaurant specializing in charcoal grilled hamburger sandwiches, and featured the ability to order food from the car. The menu is large and varied, including New York Daily Burger, Angus Takeaway, Mushroom N Swiss, Turkey Bacon, Beeh Burger, Cheeseburger, Big Deluxe, and chicken such as Honey Mustard, Chicken Tenders, Chicken Fillet, and others. The service is very excellent and the prices are reasonable.
