Al-Ahsa National Museum is one of the most famous museums in the eastern region. It is located in the Al-Ahsa Governorate, Hofuf. It was built on an area of 4000 m. It was built in 1983 and opened in 1987. It is considered a major attraction for tourists and citizens. The museum contains museum exhibition halls, restoration laboratories, laboratory, television display hall, survey and drawing laboratories, photography laboratories and the library. The museum exhibition hall consists of a prehistoric pavilion in which pictures and texts are displayed about the beginning of man, the formation of the earth and the geological layers, and a pre-Islamic pavilion that contains maps of trade routes, whether land or sea, and the alphabet of writing in the pre-Islamic Arabian Peninsula. And the Islamic period wing, which talks about the Islamic period, the Ottoman Caliphate, and the Saudi state. And the pavilion for the unification of the Kingdom and talks about the unification of Saudi Arabia and displays the folklore, the life of the Bedouins and the rural community.
